Description
Newsmag is tagDiv’s lighter, more classic sibling to the Newspaper theme. It is laid out for publishers who post often: dense homepages with category blocks, big featured sliders, trending tickers and plenty of ad slots in sensible positions.
Reviews get star, percentage or point scores, YouTube and Vimeo videos can sit in playlists, and the tagDiv Composer lets you rearrange blocks without code. It is a good fit for local news sites, niche magazines and review blogs that care about speed and clean SEO markup.

Good to know
- Moryvanta is an independent GPL redistributor and is not affiliated with or endorsed by tagDiv. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- The GPL covers the Newsmag theme files and updates, but not tagDiv’s licence key. tagDiv themes ask for activation, and when a key is requested (theme activation, premium demo import, bundled tagDiv plugins, cloud templates) it has to be purchased separately. Contact Moryvanta support and we’ll help – with a licence through Moryvanta where available or by pointing you to tagDiv.
- PlugCart notes that only the pre-made templates work without activation; Newsmag’s custom theme elements need tagDiv activation – treat activation as required for the full feature set.
- Photos and illustrations in the live demo are for preview only and are not included; imported demos use placeholder images you replace with your own.
- Moryvanta support covers downloading and installing the files.
