We respect the rights of creators. This policy explains how licensing works for the products we offer and how rights holders can ask us to remove material they believe infringes their copyright.

Our approach

Moryvanta is operated by Burhani Digital Ltd. We take intellectual property seriously and act quickly on valid notices. If you own the rights to something that appears on Moryvanta and you believe we are not entitled to offer it, please tell us using the process below.

The GPL and WordPress products

WordPress is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and themes and plugins built for it are generally distributed under the GPL as well. The GPL allows anyone who receives the software to use, modify and redistribute it, including for a fee. That is the basis on which we offer WordPress themes and plugins.

The GPL covers the software’s code. It does not grant rights to an author’s trademarks, and some bundled assets, such as certain images, fonts or third-party libraries, may be under separate licences. If you believe an item on Moryvanta includes material that is not covered by the GPL, please send us a notice and we will review it.

Moryvanta is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original authors of the products we offer.

Design assets

Graphics, fonts, icons, UI templates and mockups are offered under the licence shown on each product page. If you are the creator of an asset and believe it is being offered without the right to do so, please contact us with the details below and we will act promptly.

How to submit a notice

Send your notice to support@moryvanta.com with the subject line “Copyright notice”. To comply with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and allow us to act quickly, please include:

  • your full name, company (if any), postal address, phone number and email address;
  • a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  • the exact URL(s) on moryvanta.com where the material appears;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge valid notices and review them, usually within a few working days.
  • If the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material and let you know.
  • If a notice is incomplete, we’ll ask you for the missing information before we can act.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to support@moryvanta.com with your contact details, the material removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and your signature. We may restore the material unless the original complainant tells us they have started legal proceedings.

False or abusive notices

Please make sure your notice is accurate. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
