Description
Bricks is the builder developers reach for when Elementor starts to feel heavy. It is a theme and a builder in one package, rendering pages in a fast Vue-based editor and outputting markup that’s close to hand-written, with no jQuery.
Beyond visual design it handles the whole site: theme templates with conditions, query loops for any post type or custom query, dynamic data from ACF, Meta Box, JetEngine and Pods, global classes and variables, components and interactions. Version 2.4.2 dates from 29 September 2026.

Good to know
- Moryvanta is an independent GPL redistributor and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bricks Builder (Codeer). Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- You get the Bricks theme files and updates under the GPL, but not Bricks’ own licence key. If the builder asks for a licence key or activation during installation – for remote templates or one-click updates – a licence must be purchased separately. Contact Moryvanta support and we’ll help: a licence through Moryvanta where available, or we’ll point you to Bricks.
- The community template library and remote templates are pulled from Bricks’ servers and need an activated licence.
- Bricks is a builder theme, so changing to another theme later means rebuilding the layouts.
- Moryvanta support covers downloading and installing the files.
Frequently asked questions
What is Bricks?
A WordPress theme with a built-in visual site builder for designing every page, template, header and footer, with a focus on speed and clean code.
Is Bricks faster than Elementor?
Generally yes: it outputs less markup and no jQuery, which usually means lighter pages and better Core Web Vitals.
Can I use Elementor with Bricks?
You can, but Bricks is meant to be the builder; using both adds weight and isn’t recommended.
