Description
A backup only matters on the day something breaks, and that is when UpdraftPlus earns its reputation. It saves your files and database on a schedule, sends copies to cloud storage you control, and restores the whole site from inside WordPress in a few clicks.
Premium adds what the free version leaves out: incremental backups that only save what changed, more storage destinations with multiple copies, database encryption, a migrator for moving a site to a new domain or host, multisite support and a way to keep backups before every plugin or theme update.

Good to know
- Moryvanta is an independent GPL redistributor and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Team Updraft. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- On licensing: this GPL copy covers the plugin files and updates. It doesn’t include Team Updraft’s licence, and a few services tied to it (such as UpdraftVault storage or UpdraftClone servers) need one. If anything prompts for a licence during setup, contact Moryvanta support and we’ll help you get one, through Moryvanta where possible or from the developer.
- Use your own cloud storage accounts; UpdraftVault and UpdraftClone are paid services from the developer.
- Moryvanta support covers downloading and installing the files.
